Privacy Policy - MyCleverCorner Assistant

This Privacy Policy explains how MyCleverCorner handles information in the Android app "MyCleverCorner Assistant".

1. Who We Are

MyCleverCorner Assistant is a personal organization and reminder app by Jayanta Mondal, published under MyCleverCorner.

2. Current Data Practice

The current version does not require account login, show ads, use analytics SDKs, or send the information entered in the app to a MyCleverCorner server.

Tasks, family references, account labels, reminders, routines, goals, notes, file-location guides, and preferences are stored locally in the app's private storage on the user's device.

3. Information Entered By The User

The app can hold names or relations, bank or broker labels, masked account references, email or SIM provider labels, health or personal reminders, document descriptions, and other organizational notes. MyCleverCorner does not currently receive or read this locally stored content.

The app is not a password manager. Users should never enter passwords, PINs, OTPs, recovery codes, full card numbers, trading passwords, authentication secrets, or unmasked account credentials.

4. Local Storage, Retention, And Updates

Local app data remains on the device until the user deletes individual entries, uses Delete Everything, clears app storage, uninstalls the app, or the device or operating system removes or damages the storage.

Normal Google Play updates using the same app identity are designed to preserve local data. The app also migrates recognized older Assistant storage formats. Users should still keep periodic backup files because no local storage system can guarantee recovery after uninstall, storage clearing, device loss, reset, corruption, or operating-system failure.

5. Automatic Local Saving

The app automatically saves current Assistant data and tab preferences in its private local storage when they change. School and Tuition workspaces use their own stable local storage records.

6. Backup, Restore, And Sharing

Backup and restore are user-initiated. If the user chooses Save to Drive, Local Backup, Android sharing, or another destination, the selected third-party app or storage provider handles the file under its own terms and privacy policy. MyCleverCorner does not receive the backup file.

Backup files may contain sensitive personal or family information. Users are responsible for protecting, correctly selecting, and safely deleting exported files.

7. Internet Permission And External Links

The app may use Internet permission for support pages, legal links, websites, or future online features. The current version does not use it to upload Assistant records to MyCleverCorner.

8. Third-Party Services

The app is distributed through Google Play. Google may process installation, security, compatibility, purchase, crash, or Play service information under Google's policies. External websites, cloud storage, email, messaging, banking, broker, and other apps opened by the user have separate privacy practices.

9. Data Sharing

MyCleverCorner does not sell Assistant data. The current app does not share locally entered Assistant data with MyCleverCorner or advertisers. A transfer initiated by the user through Android's share sheet or chosen cloud provider is controlled by the user.

10. Security

Users should protect the device with a screen lock and restrict access to backup files. Anyone with access to an unlocked device or exported backup may be able to read the information stored there.

11. Data Deletion

Users can delete individual records, use the in-app Delete Everything function, clear app storage in Android settings, or uninstall the app. Because the current app has no MyCleverCorner account or server database, there is no remote Assistant account data to request from MyCleverCorner.

12. Information About Other People

Users should enter another person's information only where they have authority, permission, or a legitimate personal or family-management reason. The app should not be used to expose, monitor, impersonate, or misuse another person's information.

13. Future Changes

If login, Firebase, automatic cloud sync, analytics, advertising, payment, subscription, or other data-transmission features are added, this policy and the Google Play Data safety declaration will be updated before or when those features are released.
